Additional impetus to the development of the Siberian federal district.

Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich officially started the sawmilling complex in Verkhnepashino village of Yeniseisky region. This was done remotely at the site of the forest development projects at the XI Krasnoyarsk economic forum. The sawmilling complex was presented to Deputy Prime Minister by Lev Kuznetsov, the Governor of the krai, as a priority investment project of the krai.

Reconstruction and modernization of the complex were carried out within the framework of the implementation of the priority investment project of the Angara-Yenisei cluster.

“This is the future of forestry, and the krai in particular. There are no other complexes with such sawmilling volumes and degree of automation but the one that has been launched today”.

The project implementation will result in the additional tax payments to the krai budget, the payments exceeding 2.2 billion rubles.

The total area of the plant is more than 45 hectares; the capacity of sawn timber output is 286 thousand cubic meters per year. At the end of 2014, the company planned to launch the next line of the production facilities for lumber waste recycling to fuel pellets with the capacity of 62 thousand tons per year. By 2016 the plant should reach its full capacity production. The project of 5.4 billion rubles is financed by Maltatwood company and Vnesheconombank.
